Orlando’s Central Business District is one of the fastest growing regions in the United States. Downtown Orlando area has experienced phenomenal growth over the past five years and currently over $1.3 billion of development projects are under construction and proposed. Developments range from a corporate headquarters office building to high-rise office condominiums, a multiplex movie theater, luxury high-rise residential apartments, to a new law school campus, a new university campus and more. Downtown Orlando offers a cultural diverse mix of residents and a variety of things to do for Central Florida’s 1.8 million citizens and 40+ million annual visitors.
City Hall anchors the south end of Orange Avenue and will soon be joined by a performing arts center. Lake Eola and its scenic park draw people around the region to its events, and Church Street Station, Wall Street and Thornton Park enhance the nightlife of Orlando with their many restaurants and bars.
